This or That? - Ear Training Music Lesson Activities

Refine listening and identifying skills!

It's simple: circle what you hear.

Each worksheet features 4 "This or That?" questions from a specific category (i.e. Rhythms). For each question, two listening options are presented. To play, a teacher sings, plays, or claps an option, and the student circles which of the two options they hear. 

Students can work on listening and identifying with simple comparison, enabling them to use both positive identification skills and deductive reasoning. These worksheets are a perfect way to begin ear training and listening skills in lessons in a fun way!
